The Monarchs are barely a memory in the eyes of Londoners, but we still felt they were deserving of being resurrected. In the summer of 2003, the Canadian Baseball League was formed, but only made it to the All Star Break before pulling the plug on the entire league, never to return.
There's been professional and semi-professional baseball of various forms to come through Labatt Park in London, but the Monarchs carry the unwanted honour of the shortest stint in it's history.
